Zoe Iatridis is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Atlanta, GA. Iatridis’ work comes from a place of deep intuition and begins from a place of unknowing, letting the relationship between her body and the materials guide the first stages of creation. Slowly, suddenly, forms and figures appear, and she follows their threads, letting her inner knowing guide her.

Iatridis’ work is deeply rooted in place, landscape, and home. Her pieces represent an exploration of the spiritual realms that layer over and weave through the everyday. Much of her work is inspired and informed by landscape, cycles of nature, and family photographs and stories.

In a world that demands so much outpour from our inner reserves, Iatridis turns to art as a restorative, free-flowing, internal practice, where she can silence the internal critic, release the pursuit of perfection, and trust her body to create what it needs to create. She strives to help others access this freedom as well, and it is the guiding force of her work as a teacher.

Iatridis holds a Bachelors of Arts in Studio Art and Art History from Oberlin College, where she studied oil and acrylic painting, photography, and early modern European art. She also received the Laurine Mack Bongiorno Award for Excellence in Art History. She is a resident artist and teacher at Arts Beacon in Atlanta, GA.
